Hi! I'm Shivani Avasarala and I am currently a junior at Mission San Jose High School. This is my first year on VOI and my second year of experience with FTC. Some of my other hobbies include vocal music, reading, and volunteering. I'm looking forward to participating in software and hardware this year.

Hi, I’m Chester and I am currently being homeschooled in my senior year. This is my third year doing robotics and hopefully this year we go to Worlds again. In my free time, I like to sleep, eat, or do robotics. I also enjoy playing tennis and baking. I am super excited for this season!

Hello, my name is Michael Nguyen, and I am currently a junior attending Irvington High School. This is my first time joining a robotics team, and I definitely hope to take advantage of all the opportunities that this team can provide to me. Some things I enjoy doing on the side include Key Club, DECA, and reading. I am super passionate about engineering, robotics, and business.

I'm Andey, and I'm a 16 year old junior at Irvington High School. In my free time, I enjoy sleeping in, going on adventures, eating good food, watching chick flicks, and most of all, being with my friends and family. I had the most amazing time last year on Team 7591 and I look forward to having a similar or even better experience this year.

Hey, I’m Tejas and I am currently a junior at Irvington High School. This is my first year being a part of an FTC robotics team and I am excited to work with such a intelligent and talented team. I hope to go to the FTC world championship this year and place very highly. My hobbies are eating, playing tennis, reading books and hanging out with friends. I am extremely excited for the new season!

Hi! I’m Andy and I am currently a senior at Mission San Jose High School. This will be my second year on VOI and I am looking forward to another fun and exciting year of making new robots and new friends. I don’t have free time because robotics takes too much time, but I enjoy playing ping pong at Chester’s house and getting licked by Chance and Clover. This year I hope we can get to Worlds again to visit Katrina :D.

Hi, I’m Kelly and I’m 17 years old. I like to read, write, eat, sleep, and hang out with my friends. I’m terrible at chess and competitive Pokemon battling. I like to eat bagels and drink milk tea. I also know all the state capitals in the U.S., and I play minesweeper in my spare time.

Hi, my name is Youngju Yun. I am 18 years old, and I am a freshman at University of California San Diego. I enjoy fencing, reading, listening to music, and of course, robotics. This is my fourth year with the team, and I'm excited to become a mentor.

Hi I’m Stephen! I’m a senior at Mission San Jose High School, and this will be my second year on the team. I like to spend my time writing code and reading mystery novels. I will be in charge of this season's engineering notebook and will also be helping with the team's software. I’m looking forward to an awesome season with my teammates!

Hi! My name is Katrina and I am a college freshman currently attending Rice University. I was on Team 7591 last year and really enjoyed the experience. I enjoy writing, traveling, history, graphic design, and photography. I'm looking forward to spending this year mentoring this phenomenal team!

Hi! My name is Lawton and I am currently a freshman at UC Davis. In high school, I spent three years participating in FRC and two years participating in FTC. In my free time, I love programming, solving Rubik's Cubes, and eating large quantities of food.

Gary Yeap has been coaching FLL and FTC teams since 2003: this is his 10th season in FTC. He currently coaches 4 teams, two of which, 548 in 2007 and 7591 in 2014-2016, have advanced to the World Championships. He is also the 13-14 Compass Award winner at the NorCal and Super Regional West levels. Gary has a Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, and he is currently an R&D Manager working for IC design.

Hey, I'm Niranjan and I am a junior at Mission San Jose High School. This is my third year in FTC and I look forward to expanding my knowledge with VOI. I primarily help with CAD and build on the team. I'm excited for a great 2016-2017 season.
