Date: 1/3/14 – 2/15/14

Members present: All members

Throughout January and February all members looked for potential sponsors to broaden our outreach to the community. Since we wanted to reach out to the local community first, the businesses we contacted were all in the Bay Area. We contacted around 15 companies to see if they were willing to offer us sponsorship funds. American Portwell Technology, Inc. was a major supporter and offered $1000. By contacting so many companies, we also received funds from Brooks Academy, CustomInk, Bits N Bytes, Elite Educational Institute, and Olive Children. We were able to raise a total of around $2000 in the duration of a month and a half. All our sponsors were eager to help us and hope that we will continue to be successful for the rest of the season.
